Scout Motors gets green light from feds to resume construction

A little over three months after pausing groundwork amid concerns over environmental impact, Scout Motors was given the go-ahead from federal regulators to continue construction on its massive auto plant, which is expected to bring 4,000 jobs to South Carolina’s Midlands.
